MUZAFFARABAD: (Parliament Times) The special session of AJK legislative assembly has been convened on April 19 for evolving a strategy through consensus of all political parties on how to deal with the latest killing spree of Kashmiris by Indian forces.

AJK Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan told this while addressing a press conference at central press club here on Sunday. The government would appeal to all political parties of the State for a consensus to formulate a strategy in the special session, he added.

Mr. Haider said Indian forces were engaged with impunity in state terrorism and massive human rights abuses against Kashmiris which must be stopped. Kashmiris he said had given their decision in the latest bye elections in three districts of the held valley making it clear that they were not interested in anything other than complete freedom from India. Following the boycott of elections drama in the valley Indian forces had increased their massacre spree against the innocent Kashmiris, he added.

He expressed surprise over the criminal apathy of international community over the fresh wave of blood bath by Indian forces in IHK that had emboldened the forces for genocide of Kashmiri youth. “History has not witnessed such cruelties and tyrannies in any part of the world. Even Israel has not treated people of Palestine like this” he noted. The Premier urged the UN Human Rights Commission to send its fact finding mission to the IHK to monitor these brutalities and savagery of Indian forces there.

Mr. Haider observed that local channels were not giving proper coverage to the Kashmir issue. He urged the electronic media to fulfill its responsibilities in exposing Indian atrocities against innocent Kashmiris. He said International Kashmir Conference would be held in Muzaffarabad in July this year.

The Prime Minister also demanded Pakistan to seek for UNSC session for preventing India from war crimes against people of Jammu and Kashmir. He said Pakistan should send such emissaries to different countries that are well aware of Kashmir issue to expose Indian brutalities and highlight Kashmir issue in its true perspective. He said a parliamentary delegation comprising of leaders like Sartaj Aziz, Raja Zafarul Haque and Senator Mushahid Hussain Syed may sent for this purpose
