Muzaffarabad: (Parliament Times) AJK Minister for Education and Muzaffarabad City Development Program, Syed Iftikhar ali Geelani has said that development work for construction of Lohar Geelani would be started soon. The people will get significant relief on the completion of this vital project. He said this during his visit to Gojra Union Coumcil and talking to a public delegation headed by PML-N leader Irum Querashi. Saying that PML-N government will fulfill all the promises made with the people during last general elections, the Minister said Rs 350 million have been released for the construction of Muzaffarabad- Brar Kot Road while different other projects are in progress in the Union Council Gojra. He expressed his resolve that UC Gojra would be turned into a modal union Council in terms of development and public facilities. He said that government is working on a comprehensive plan to strengthen the people economically by addressing unemployment on priority. Barrister Iftikhar Gillani said all out efforts are being made to develop Azad Kashmir on modern lines. He added that government has evolved a comprehensive strategy to turn AJK into a modern welfare state.
