Srinagar: In occupied Kashmir, a local court has sent senior APHC leader Masarrat Aalam Butt to judicial remand till 11th of this month.
Masarrat Aalam Butt was produced before a court in Bandipora in a case lodged against him at Sumbal police station. He was remanded till March 11 by Judicial Magistrate Bandipora. The APHC leader was sent to Baramulla district jail.
Earlier, on Monday Masarrat’s bail order was suspended till 10th of March, 2017 by a court in Bandipora. He was granted bail by Chief Judicial Magistrate Bandipora in on February 21, 2017. However, the puppet administration had challenged the bail order before the Sessions Judge Bandipora who had suspended its execution till February 27.
