Nankana Sahib: Federal Minister for Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan Affairs, Chaudhry Muhammad Barjees Tahir has said Imran Khan gained nothing from politics except frustration and disgrace.
Addressing a public gathering at Thoothia Kalan in District of Sheikhupura after provision of natural gas to the residents of the area, he said Imran Khan’s politics revolving around Dharanas, agitation and spreading baseless hearsays, which reflects his immaturity and shallow mindedness. Imran Khan was given mandate to serve the masses but he wasted over three years in politics of agitation, the minister remarked.
Chaudhry Barjees Tahir said Imran Khan’s refusal to accept his defeat in 2013 elections and later hampering the process of the development by starting agitation is proof of his childish politics. The Federal said Imran Khan is in politics for last two decades but his party could not succeed because of the lack of seriousness and political sagacity of its leadership.
He said Imran Khan even pushed the people of Khyber Pukhtankhawa in the depth of hopelessness and now the people of the province are regretting onr their decision to support PTI in 2013 elections and Imran is stood exposed before the masses.
He further said that compare to PTI, PML-N under the leadership of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has become most popular party of the country, proof of which is overwhelming support of people in the elections held in Gilgit Baltistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir, he concluded.
