Muzaffarabad: (Parliament Times) The Azad Jammu Kashmir government on Thursday promoted three inspectors of police including Sardar Israr ul Haq as Deputy Superintendent Police (DSP) on the basis of their seniority.

According to a notification issued by the Department of Home, Sardar Israr ul Haq, Zahoor Ahmed and Sadiq Hussain Kazmi has been promoted as Deputy Superintendent   Police. The newly promoted DSPs would be posted in next couple of day. The promotional ranks would be given to them at a ceremony to be held either in Central Police Office (CPO) or Police Line Muzaffarabad. It is pertinent to mention that inspector Sardar Israr ul Haq was already honored with the certificate and Rs 100,000 cash prize by the Inspector General Police Azad Kashmir. The public and social circles of the city highly appreciated the merit policy of AJK prime minister and inspector general police and expressed his hope that policy of the merit and justice will continue to prevail in AJK
