Islamabad: (Parliament Times) Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of National Testing Service (NTS), Professor Dr. Shairzada Khan has condemned the negative campaign against his institution by the people who clearly have vested interest to trample the fundamental rights of the deserving people.

In an interview with Daily Parliament Times, he said recent verdict of Supreme Court of Pakistan has authenticated that NTS is only institution in the country that enjoys unprecedented trust of the people of Pakistan. But unfortunately some inept and hopeless elements have been engaged in unleashing a negative propaganda against the organization to discredit it in the eyes of the masses.

He said that unsuccessful attempt to spit venom against NTS has sole purpose to grab the crucial national institutions of the country through bribery, nepotism and favoritism and by violating the merit and snatching the rights of rightful.

Terming the campaign against NTS as deep conspiracy against the culture of merit, Dr Shairzada  Khan said that as many as 250 key institutions of the country including, universities, educational institutions, judiciary and even intelligence agencies of the country turn to NTS to conduct an assessment for admissions, recruitment and promotions on the merit. He expressed his unflinching resolve that NTS would continue to discharge its responsibilities in the best interest of the country and in disregard of those who are playing with future of new generation.

He said NTS only conduct tests to help the governments and institutions for ensuring the merit and it would continue to offer its services for the greater interest of the country and people of Pakistan.

Replying a question, the NTS Chief said that the organization is now offering its services to government of Azad Jammu and Kashmir to make appointments, promotions and recruitment in education department through NTS.
