Muzaffarabad: (Parliament Times)  Member of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Council, Yunas Mir has called upon United Nations, European Union and Organization of Islamic Cooperation to take exception of state terrorism continued for last five months in Occupied Kashmir.

He expressed these views during his meeting with prominent Kashmiri leader Altaf Ahmed Bhatt at his residence. Terming India one of the worst countries, Mir said India is depriving Kashmiris in response to the demand for freedom. He said US president elect; Donald Trump and European countries should use their influence on Indian government to stop genocide in Kashmir.

Speaking on the occasion, prominent Kashmiri leader, Altaf Bhatt people and leadership of Jammu and Kashmir is united on freedom from India and is ready to offer any kind of sacrifice to achieve this objective. He said people of Jammu and Kashmir would not accept anything short of their inalienable right to self determination.

He urged the Kashmiris living any part of the world to play their role for liberation of their motherland from Indian subjugation. Bhatt appreciated the efforts of Yunas Mir in highlighting Kashmir issue in the Gulf countries especially in Qatar, Oman and Kuwait and assured him that his efforts would bear fruits soon.

Referring to ongoing freedom struggle in Kashmir Altaf Bhatt said this time youth of Kashmir leading the movement from the front. They are educated, enlightened and visionary and taking the struggle to its logical end. He said that India must realize that peace in South Asia is linked to peaceful settlement of Kashmir issue according to the aspirations of Kashmiri people.
