LAHORE (Parliament Times) – Pakistan’s film actress Meera Irtiza has abandoned her plan to construct a charity hospital in Sialkot, Parliament Times reported on Saturday.
The plan to construct a hospital was revealed by Meera two years ago, but now she has abandoned the plandue to shortage of funds. No formal announcement has been made regarding this decision.
The hospital was aimed to provide low-cost health care in the district and the nearby rural areas.
Meera‘s mother is a philanthropist in her own right and runs a charity organization that helps in providing vocational and technical training to women from impoverished communities.
