Muzaffarabad: AJK president Sardar Muhammad Masood Khan has said that Kashmir is not burden on Pakistan rather country’s destiny is linked with the settlement of Kashmir issue. He said that Pakistan is an important party to the Kashmir dispute at international level and also is staunch supporter of Kashmiri peoples’ struggle for their right to self determination.

While briefing AJK Cabinet and the parliamentary party of the ruling PMLN hereon Sunday, the president said that India can’t rollback the presence of United Nations Military Observers in Kashmir as Kashmir is figured prominent as dispute in the resolution passed by the United Nation Security Council. The president briefed the cabinet and parliamentary party about diplomatic efforts at International level, hardships and apathy of global community towards the Kashmir issue. He also informed about his visit to United Nations, United States, OIC and his meetings with officials of US State Department and White House. Speaking on the occasion AJK PM Raja Farooq Haider Khan said that Kashmir freedom movement is first and foremost priority of his government. He said that AJK government is utilizing all available resources to help our Kashmiri brethern diplomatically and politically. Terming Burhan Wani as hero of the Kashmir freedom movement, the prime minister said that Wani gave a new dimension to the freedom movement by offering his blood. He said that AJK government is going to setup Shaahhuda Kashmir Fund to help the affected families of Kashmir Liberation Struggle in occupied Kashmir. He also announced to bring reforms in Kashmiri libration cells to make it Kashmir freedom movement specific institutions in AJK
