LAHORE: Former prime minister and leader of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Raja Pervez Ashraf said that Imran Khan should be given chance to rule as he got majority in the Parliament.
Speaking to media after appearing in Accountability Court he said that PPP gave jobs to poor people which aren’t a wrong in any way. He said he appointed 437 people as per the law in PEPCO. He further stated that Bilawal Bhutto Zardari showed sensibility in the election campaigns as PPP wants to strengthen democracy in the country.
The former premier was of the opinion that many parties accepted the results of General Election 2018 therefore PPP would go to parliament.
Earlier, he was appeared before the accountability court with his counsel. The court recorded statement of a witness of NAB in the court. Raja Pervez Ahsraf was allowed to leave the court earlier as he was scheduled to attend a meeting in Islamabad.
