Rawalpindi: All the accused nominated in a case regarding a raid and weapons recovery of Top City Housing Society acquitted.
Judge Muhammad Ashgar of Special court number 1 of Anti-terrorism court Rawalpindi set free all the accused on insufficient proofs.
In a short decision court stated that plaintiff unable to proved the allegations, so all the accused were released.
All the accused including Kunwar Mohiz Ahmad, Muhammad Essa, Ghulam Yaseen, Muhammad Adeel Akram and others were present on the occasion along with their counsels Zulfiqar Abbas Naqvi, Sheheryar and others.
Worth mentioning that, on May 12 Rangers, CTD along with other law enforcement agencies in a targeted operation recovered weapons from a house in the area of Airport and arrested Muhammad Essa son of Ali Haider.
Later on the indication of arrestees others along with heavy weapons were arrested from Top City Housing Society and a case under anti-terrorism act was registered.
During trial of the said case, it was proved that the case was levelled baselessly against all the accused.
The local land mafia hatched this conspiracy against Kunwar Mohiz Khan and others to occupy Top City Housing Society, but unable to prove the entire allegation before court.
