ISLAMABAD: The Senate on Friday adopted a resolution unanimously condemning the use of pellet guns and atrocities committed by the Indian Armed forces against the innocent Kahmiris in the Indian Occupied Kashmir.
The resolution was moved by Senator Nasreen Jalil on the occasion of January 26th, which is India’s republic day but it is being observed as Black Day by the Kashmiris in the Occupied Kashmir and through out the world including Pakistan.
Through this resolution, the Senate urged the United Nations and the international community to take notice of the Indian brutalities and violations of basic human rights in the Indian Occupied Kashmir by the Indian forces and urged them to stop such activities immediately. The Senate also urged the United Nations that it should take necessary steps to implement on the resolutions of the United Nations Security Council in letter and spirit for the peaceful resolution of the Kashmir dispute.
The Senate through this resolution expressed its solidarity with the people of Indian Occupied Kashmir and their just struggle for the right of self-determination.
