Islamabad : Low sui-gas pressure hit many sectors of Federal Capital as residents of these sectors were facing great hardship owing to this alarming situation.
Due to chilled weather, the worries of residents of capital have increased manifold due to low gas pressure. The traders of coal and LPG have increased its prices and demand the prices of their choice from the customers.
The residents of sector F-10 and F-11 said that due to low gas pressure their children and government officials go to school without breakfast. The residents of sectors G-11, G-10, G-9, G-6, I-10, I-9 and I-8 were facing the same problem of low gas pressure.
Talking to Online, Suleman Ahmed, resident of G-9 said that low gas pressure has exposed the tall claims of the government of facilitating the masses. The amount of pocket money of children has increased because they have to purchase breakfast from school canteen.Nisar Ahmed said that gas is not coming properly since the first down pour of December and complained that prices of LPG have skyrocketed.
Muhammad Asghar said that gas dealers and hotel owners were getting benefit of low gas pressure as the gas dealers have increased the prices of LGP from Rs 120 to Rs 165 per kg. It is a matter of severe concern that government neither provides the required gas pressure nor takes notice of prices of LPG.
Talking to Online, the women said that use of cylinder in houses pose serious threat for us adding that we have to face a major loss if it blasted on one hand while on other hands their husbands adopt impolite attitude on not providing breakfast in time and sometimes we are subjected to physical torture.
They demanded of the government to initiate appropriate measures for the immediate resolution of low gas pressure issue so that residents of Islamabad could take a sigh of relief.
