Rawalpindi: (Parliament Times) Excise and Taxation Department Rawalpindi has geared up campaign to recover property tax after restoration of peace in the city.
According to Excise and Taxation Department, more than 50 residential and commercial units were sealed in this connection.
Director Excise and Taxation Rawalpindi Division stated that all staff was given directions to accelerate the drive for recovery of property tax.
He said that department has set recovery target of Rs150million during the current month.
It is pertinent to mention here that owing to the blockage of roads especially in Rawalpindi due to sit-in by the religious parties recovery of property tax was affected badly.
