Rawalpindi: (Parliament Times) A drama highlighting the social issues daldal “quagmire” under the auspices of Rawalpindi Arts Council (RAC) was presented here Monday.
The play was written and directed by senior artists Munawar Khan Afridi. Actors including Munawar Afridi, Shagufta Qureshi, Ali Shan, Shahid Mughal, Pervez Malik, Aamir Chaudhry, Imran Disco, Waqas Vicky and Karim Khan.
President Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N), cultural wing, Riffat Abbasi was chief guest on this occasion. The play was based on the use of drug, which was ruining the young generation. Those engaged with this filthy business are devastating the society.
Riffat Abbasi appreciating the services of RAC said that it was playing vital role to highlight the social issues. She said that lesson was a main source besides the entertainment. Resident Director acknowledged the work of the performers and the writer.
