Rawalpindi: (Parliament Times) Police and district administration has chalked out a foolproof security plan for Youm-e-Ashura.
According to reports, the district administration has imposed ban on aerial firing, possession and waving of arms, pillion riding and standing on rooftops and windows of shops, plazas and houses from 7th of Muharram till 10th on the routes of procession in the district.
Three thousand officials of police and Rangers have been deployed on the route of the procession whereas army will remain on red alert.
All reentry points have been sealed by erecting barbed wire and placing containers. Data of all occupants of the room
s alongside Murree road will be collected.
