ISLAMABAD: Educational institutions and government offices have reopened in federal capital after Eid ul Azha holidays with highly thin attendance.
The attendance ratio was witnessed ranging between 5 to 10 percent in government as well private schools and colleges and government offices. In some offices the attendance remained next to nil as they were giving a deserted look with no responsible employee holding their seats but only lower grade employees like Naib Qasid were found wandering in corridors of offices with floundering looks.
“Sahb is —– where, yes he was here just now where he has gone I can not tell, said a Naib Qasid while peeping into eyes of a visitor who had come from some remote hilly village. But Sahb was seen nowhere, anywhere or some where.
Eid holidays are instrumental in creating more opportunity to avail more leave because it is occasion which we harness to generate more leave on our sweet will, said a group of employees.
The government employees are likely to rejoin their duties on next Monday as they have clubbed 4 days leave from Tuesday to Friday with 4 days Eid holidays for celebrating Eid in their native towns.
