Muzaffarabad: (Parliament Times) Secretary Jammu Kashmir Liberation Cell Muhammad Idrees Abbasi has said that around 94630 Kashmiris have been killed while 107,605 children left orphan by Indian forces since January 1989 in Occupied Kashmir.
Briefing 33 member delegations of 18th Public Policy and Governance Course, he said that Kashmiri people stood firmly on their principled stand despite unprecedented atrocities.
He said that peace and stability cannot be achieved in South Asian region without resolving Kashmir issue in just manner. He said that the people of Kashmir are demanding there inalienable right to self-determination under UN resolution.
The secretary told the delegation that Kashmir liberation cell was established to highlight Kashmir issue in its real prospective by holding briefings and arranging different awareness program both in public and educational institutions to highlight the Kashmir issue. Earlier the delegation visited Kashmir Institute of Management where it was brief about the functioning and objectives of the institute. Director General of the institute Brigadier retired Syed Akhtar Hussain Shah and others officials were also present on the occasion.
