Muzaffarabad: Justice Chaudhry Muhammad Ibrahim Zia took oath office as Chief Justice Supreme Court of Azad Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday. AJK President Sardar Muhammad Masood Khan administered the oath. Zia replaced Justice Muhammad Azam Khan who has retired after superannuation. The oath-taking ceremony held in Awan-e-Sadr was attended by AJK Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan, Speaker Legislative Assembly Shah Ghulam Qadir, Senior Minister Chaudhry Tariq Farooq, Law and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Raja Nisar Ahmed, Chaudhry Muhammad Saeed, Nasir Dar, Members of Legislative Assembly, Chaudhry Yasin Gulshan, Chaudhry Muhammad Ishaq, Chaudhry Rukhsar Ahmed, Former Chief Justice Muhammad Azam Khan, Chief Justice High Court Ghulam Mustafa Mughal, former Chief Justice, Manzoor Hussain Gillani, Advocate General Raza Ali Khan, Judges of the Supreme and High Court, judges of sub-ordinate judiciary, senior lawyers of Supreme and High Court, Members of the Azad Kashmir Bar Council and senior officials.
