Lahore: Governor Punjab Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar met with PTI President from Azad Kashmir Barrister Sultan Mehmood and other party delegations. Governor Punjab said that the culprits involved in Motorway Rape Case are no less than terrorists and they will be given exemplary punishment. He said that the PTI government will complete its term despite opposition’s APCs. According to details, Governor Punjab Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar met with PTI President from Azad Kashmir Barrister Sultan Mehmood and other party delegations in Governor’s House Lahore. National and political matters came under discussion during this meeting.
On this occasion, Governor Punjab said that ever since the PTI government has come into power, the opposition is giving threats of protests but the Prime Minister Imran Khan is not afraid of these threats and we will not let opposition succeed in their personal interests. Governor said that the opposition can call as many APCs as they want but our government has no danger from it. We will complete our constitutional terms regardless of the opposition’s APCs. He said that the PTI government has public support. PML(N) and PPP have completed their terms so it is our constitutional right to complete ours.
Governor Punjab suggested that the opposition should wait for elections rather than resorting to protests. Public will take the decision regarding the next government by using the power of vote. He said that Pakistan is moving forward successfully on every front. He said that the people of Azad Kashmir will also place their confidence in the PTI government.
Talking about the motorway rape case, he said that exemplary punishment will be given to the culprits involved in this heinous crime. He said that the police and other relevant government departments are investigating this case. He said that the protection of daughters is the responsibility of the government and this responsibility will be fulfilled.
PTI President from Azad Kashmir Barrister Sultan Mehmood said that the people of Azad Kashmir also stand by the policies of Prime Minister Imran Khan. PTI will win the elections of Kashmir with majority votes. He said that we are bearing the brunt of failed policies of previous governments and the PTI government is taking practical steps to purge problems that Pakistan is facing right now
