There is glory and nobility in enduring difficulties when we work to overcome. The challenges and obstacles life puts in our way we make ourselves stronger and set an example for those around us. The fact is apparent in my surroundings that glory I desire shall come with great challenges. So the wisdom is in the words of this maxim, ‘greater the challenge, greater the glory”. Some folks are afraid to take the risk of sharing their opinions or sticking out their neck for fear of getting it “chopped off.” They think:
“What if I’m wrong?” “What if it fails?” “What will others think of me?” they avoid facing challenges as they fear failure. They don’t know that failure is always a ladder to success and challenges bring chivalry.
These same folks are silent even though they have the best answer; they let opportunities slip through their fingertips even when they look promising; they see other people pass them by in the fast lane of life even though these people are less deserving. The truth is, they’re so afraid of failing that they don’t try at all — and consequently, they fail. You have what it takes to be successful. So believe in yourself and your abilities or you’ll never know what you’re really capable of achieving. As Aristotle said, “You will never do anything in this world without courage. It is the greatest quality of the mind next to honor.” Don’t be afraid to put yourself on the line if you want the rewards that life has to offer. That
means, like in baseball, it’s better to go down swinging than to be called out on strikes. Steve Jobs once said, “Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma — which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of others’ opinions drown out your own inner voice. Man has to fight his way through various difficulties and hardships to reach the summit of success. Success comes to only those, who can give a good fight, they may fail again and
again but if their determination is alive, they are destined to succeed ultimately. Doubtless, this is proven fact that “Greater the Challenges, greater the glory” holds true value even in modern-dayn day and age. The fact that man has been sent on earth to make various attempts and struggles; throughout his life verify this statement. Hence, the axiom is valid as long as there are men on the face of the Earth and this struggle, this conflict, this str, iving and this determination is the root of all human achievements. There are an infinite number of historical and modern day examples and parables of the
topic sentence, when our Holy Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H) began preaching Islam how he faced terrible opposition from the pagans and infidels. They even tempted him with power and pelf, but he remained steadfast. But he continued constantly true path of struggle which is very vividly justified in religion Islam; the fastest growing religion in the world with a 7% increase every year. It is just because of the persistence and selfless devotion of our Holy Prophet. It is just because that the Holly (P.B.U.H)
faced challenges and remained steadfast. Now, I want to rivet your attention to day to day life. Let us, for a moment create in our minds a hypothetical example of healthy and happy businessman. His position and status today is the result of long standing struggles which he made and bore difficulties, as the idiom goes, “Happiness is like a gypsy traveling here and there in order to find its rightful owner.
Those who struggle invite happiness to come to them while happiness runs away from uncontested persons and never comes back.” So, face challenges and fetch glory. When we put a glance in the pages of history and find the name written in the golden words, it is none else but our leader Quaid-e- Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the founder of Pakistan, who had never been degraded and hopeless in his entire life and achieved distinguished achievements. Once he said, “You can get Pakistan not by asking,
not by begging, not even by mere prayers but by working with trust in God.” So he implemented all that he said and proved that no power on earth can undo Pakistan. So Face challenge and fetch glory. A person, who does not take the challenges of life, is condoned to failure forever. Hence, the man is the master of his destiny irrespective favorable or unfavorable condition. Hence in conclusion we can safely
say that “man is the master of his destiny”. He, the man, faces great challenges in his life so as to achieve great and distinct glory, the great poet T.S Elliot says and quote, “The greatness of man lies in facing the adverse”,. So, if we are willing address the adverse and face the fate, that glory is certain to be gained. Life does not end when you die but it ends when you lack courage. The life is vainglorious if it does refute the challenges. The glory is correlative to challenge and success in one’s entire life. The glory
achieved by Quaid-i- Azam Muhammad Ali is often repeated in the pages of History and earned him name as fathether of nation. Like Quaid-i-Azam there are many great persons who dragged the challenges down for better glory. In the last I confess that all glory comes from daring to begin. Thus the famous words of Confucius are standing in my support that greater glory comes with great challenges to face.
