Rawalpindi: (Parliament Times) Mohammad Abdullah Gul, Chairman, Tehreek-e-Jawanan-e-Pakistan, in a press statement, strongly condemned the killing of a man named Bashir in front of his three-year-old grandson in Sopore area of Baramulla district. India has left no room for peaceful political struggle in occupied Kashmir. Hundreds of unarmed Kashmiris have been martyred since August 5. In Kashmir, on a daily basis, Indian paramilitary forces and the army are engaged in genocide of Kashmiris in the name of search operations. On the one hand, India is genociding unarmed and innocent Kashmiris. On the other hand, the plan to resettle non-Kashmiris in occupied Kashmir is also in the final stages. He said that we appeal to the international community to stop Indian oppression. Do your part, he said, adding that what could be a more practical demonstration of barbarism than the way his grandfather was martyred in front of an innocent child yesterday? He said that this is a very inhuman event. If India, after inflicting such atrocities on Kashmiris, expects that the Indian Army will not be attacked in Kashmir, then it is India’s mistake. He further said that India can be taken out of Kashmir only by force of sword. The youth of Kashmir will have to come to the forefront and play a role for the independence movement. Peaceful struggle for independence in occupied Kashmir is impossible, so the youth should unite and work out a plan of action for the future
