Mirpur: (Parliament Times)  Acting AJK Prime Minister Chaudhry Tariq Farooq on Wednesday urged the leaders and workers of his party to prepare for forthcoming local bodies elections.   Addressing at a reception hosted in his honour by PML-N leader Azeem Bakhsh, he gave the credit of PML-N marvelous success in Mirpur Division to party workers and said party workers especially youth of the party would be accommodated in local bodies election to be held in May this year.
He said government would make new stringent laws for strengthening Ehtesab Bureau to hold corrupt people accountable and bring them to justice. He vows to expose all those who have been involved in corruption and corrupt practices and to recover looted public money from them. Saying that federal government had provided all requisite funds for the development of Azad Kashmir, the acting Prime Minister said problems of the affectees of Mangla Dam would be resolved on priority. He said Prime Minister Farooq Haider would soon visit Mirpur to resolve the problems of the people.
Commenting on the polarization in Pakistan, acting AJK Prime Minister said some negative forces in Pakistan want to hamper the journey of development in the country. He predicted that PML-N under the leadership of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will clean sweep the elections 2018. He said PML-N government government in AJK evolved a strategy to is determined to uphold rule of law, merit to serve the people of the state without any discrimination. The reception was also addressed by District President PML-N Mirpur Chaudhry Abdul Malik, AJK Minister for Sports, Culture and Mangla Dam Affairs, chaudhry Muhammad Saeed, Member AJK Legislative Assembly Chaudhry Rukhsar Ahmed, Nazir Inqalabi, Hafiz Arshad Advicate and Shakil Ahmed.
