Islamabad,(Parliament Times): Syed Faiz Naqshbandi, Convener APHC Islamabad paid glorious tributes to Mirwaiz Kashmir – distinguished religious scholar and prominent political leader Shaheed-e-Millat Mirwaiz Moulvi Muhammad Farooq (RA) on his 30th martyrdom anniversary, and the martyrs of Hawal of 21 May.
He also paid tribute to Shaheed I Hurriyet Khawaja Abdul Ganie Lone who was also martyred on 21 May. Referring to current situation in held Kashmir he said, “Freedom of expression and free assembly and even freedom of religion had been completely snatched by India in Occupied Kashmir. Chairman of All Parties Hurriyet Conference (APHC) Mirwaiz Muhammad Umar Farooq who is also present MIRWAIZ I KASHMIR continues to be under house detention since August last year”. Naqshbandi said the sacrifices of Shaheed-e-Millat Mirwaiz Molvi Mohammad Farooq will always be remembered. The Government of India and its army had turned occupied Kashmir into a huge prison, where everyone is under arrest and depriving them of their basic necessities of life. Shaheed-e-Millat Mirwaiz Moulvi Muhammad Farooq (RA) was martyred at the age of 46 and Kashmir . Convener APHC Syed Faiz Naqshbandi appealed to the United Nations and the international community to increase pressure on India for final disposition of Kashmir dispute according to the UN resolutions and aspirations of the Kashmiri people
