Islamabad: Auditor General (AG) Pakistan has sent last financial year’s audit report of 40 federal departments to Parliament.
Irregularities of RS 15673 billion in federal departments have been pointed out and RS 490 billion recoveries have been made.
AG Pakistan has send audit report of 40 federal departments of previous financial year to Parliament in which weak fiscal arrangements of 51 cases involving RS 14562 billion have been pointed out.
In report irregularities and breach of rules of RS 29297 billion in different cases has been pointed out while in 26331 cases accounting mistakes have been identified.
Auditor report has also pointed out recoveries, over- payments and irregularities in different cases worth of RS 185885 while no record has been provided against utilization of RS1 billion in 4 cases.
In report theft, Fraud and corruption of worth 8620 million in 11 cases have also been pointed out.. Auditor general Pakistan is authorized for auditing accounts of 50 federal departments while this report contains audit of 40 ministries.
