ABBASPUR: (Parliament Times) A group of journalists called on Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir Raja Farooq Haider Khan at the residence of Chaudhry Yasin Gulshin on Saturday.
The Prime Minister condoled the death of mother of Gulshin, expressed with the bereaved family and prayed for the departed soul.
Later talking to journalists he said the process of development projects in AJK continues owing to special interest and consideration of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif when he was chief executive of the country. He credited Sharif for doubling the development budget of Azad Kashmir that helped launch scores of development projects. He said when he meets Sharif he discusses with him about the pace and process of growth and development in AJK.
To a question the Premier said Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi incorporated 370-A as part of his manifesto. “I am sure Modi would never treat people of Jammu and Kashmir well” he said. He said Indian Prime Minister’s agenda for Kashmir has always been negative, he added.
Meanwhile the Prime Minister expressed condolence visiting the house of former Assistant Commissioner Raja Muhammad Farooq Ahmed at Mirpur. He expressed sympathy with the bereaved family and prayed for departed soul.
