RAWALPINDI: (Parliament Times) The AJK information minister Mushtaq Ahmed Minhas has called upon the youth to prepare themselves for a competitive atmosphere to shoulder the future challenges.
In an interview to a local broadcasting station here on Friday he said young generation should get use to hard work and study in a disciplined way for a successful life when they enter into practical field.
He admitted that it was a materialistic age when most of the people think just about themselves which is drifting them away from their values. He urged the youth to work hard in studies in order to have good command and knowledge over the subjects they study in educational institutions.
He said it had been proven internationally that education was the only weapon that plays important role for eradication of poverty in the world. He said students should set targets for themselves and put in hundred percent to achieve them.
He said youth of AJK was gifted with enormous talent adding that the state’s literacy rate was better than provinces of the country. He stressed the students for giving more time to research work at higher educational institutions and improve their communicational skill.
He warned the students to avoid negative activities that can damage their future. Many politicians could use them as a weapon for their objectives, he remarked.
