ISLAMABAD: Iranian ambassador in Pakistan Mehdi Hunar Dost has said some countries in the region want to disrupt iran-Pakistan ties and some countries are pursuing conspiracies of anti Islam forces.
He said this while addressing a ceremony held here Tuesday in private hotel. He held that Iran has rendered unprecedented sacrifices to weed out terrorism during 40 years.
He went on to say Iran believes in regional cooperation for elimination of terrorism. But unluckily some countries want to disrupt Iran-Pakistan relations and certain countries of the region are pursuing conspiracies of anti Islam forces. We will have to take action indiscriminately to curb terrorism.
He underlined that so called alliance against terrorism in the region is but a stage show. Pakistan and Iran have capability to eradicate terrorism. Both the countries will have to cooperate selflessly to thwart Western conspiracies, he added.
