Rawalpindi: (Parliament Times) AJ&K minister for information and Tourism Raja Mushtaq Ahmed Minhas has denounced the kidnapping of a journalist in occupied Kashmir by the Indian forces.
In his statement, issued here on Wednesday, AJK minister said that three months have been passed since Asif Sultan was kidnapped by the occupational forces and no information has been given to his family regarding his survival,by the army yet.
He welcomed the notice taken by International Committee to Protect Journalists on the abduction of Asif Sultan.
He said India does not have any right to curb freedom of speech and expression.
He said due to the ongoing Indian violence in the valley, thousands of innocent people have been brutally martyred, while millions have been orphaned and widowed.
The Indian state’s deplorable actions ranged from shutting down schools, restricting movement of civilians, suspending internet services, and using pellet guns and tear gas in an effort to subjugate the Kashmir freedom movement, he said.
