WANA: IGFC (South) Major General Haroon Hameed Chaudhary met newly elected MPA PK 110 from South Waziristan Lower Ajab Gul Wazir.
On this occasion detailed consultation on proposals to bring peace and prosperity in Waziristan.

In the meeting, Ajab Gul Wazir acknowledged the sacrifices and efforts of the security forces in bringing peace and stability to the region, and the Angoor Adda Border issue highlighted its efforts to resolve the protest and restore commercial activities.

They discussed mutual efforts to initiate developmental projects like sustainable irrigation systems (check dam) and agricultural initiatives for socio-economic recovery in Lower South Waziristan.
During the meeting, IGFC discussed setting priorities for the development and prosperity of the region.

He said providing Internet service in the region, trade of pine nuts with Afghanistan, and value addition of local pines, highlighted the wider opportunities for agriculture in Spinwam and Shakai.

Apart from this, Major General Haroon Hameed Chowdhury consulted on effective suggestions for planting gardens in Wana and Azamwarsak, resuming the Agri Park, making mines in Gomal and Birmal operational, and taking steps to reward the local people with minerals.

IGFC said on the occasion that NLC company has started the construction of a cargo terminal at the Angoor Ada border, which will lead to an increase in transparent trade and communication.

On the other hand, the local tribal welcomed the meeting between IGFC South KP and MPAPK 110.
They expressed hope that due to the meeting of IGFC and MPA, there is a strong possibility of solving most of the problems in the area.
