    Land dispute between NW & Orakzai, two tribes agree to a ceasefire.

    Wana : Successful Jirga of AC Mir Ali Subdivision & Upper Orakzai with the Misri Khel (North Waziristan) & Biland Khel (Orakzai) in the presence of neutral mediators at Tauda China CP Yesterday.

    Two days ago an incident between both tribes in which 6 individuals got injured in a conflict at a disputed area near Tauda China CP Shewa, as per the direction of District Administration North Waziristan & Upper Orakzai, The Assistant Commissioner Mir Ali Subdivision Dr. Sadiq Ali and AC Upper Orakzai Imtiaz Ali Shah along with Tehsildar Shewa Mr. Kashif and DSP & SHOs of concerned districts held Jirga with the elders of Misri Khel and Biland Khel at Tauda China regarding Maintenance of Peace time (03 Months), ceasefire and No Construction at the disputed area.

    After multiple rounds of talks with both tribes separately for 4-5 hours, the following points were discussed and unanimously agreed upon by both tribes.
    Peace shall be maintained for three months with a Ceasefire from both tribes.
    No Construction in the disputed land between both the tribes till there is Jirga and mediators in between them with peace maintained.
    After due deliberation, The new construction done yesterday was demolished via mediators with the consent of both tribes as a goodwill gesture for peace and the incident occurred yesterday.
    Any Kind of Violation of this peace agreement shall be reported to the concerned district administration and police and strict action shall be dealt with as per law against the culprits.
    Next Jirga with both the tribes in consultation with the District Administration of both North Waziristan & Upper Orakzai has been scheduled to be held on 30th April 2024.
