Islamabad,  (Parliament Times) : Allah Almighty has blessed Pakistan with minerals including precious stones and semi-precious stones, the export of which can greatly benefit Pakistan. Such an exhibition gives exposure to companies. These views were expressed by Sardar Rashid Ilyas, owner of Centaurus Mall Islamabad, on the occasion of the inauguration of the Gems and Minerals Exhibition organized by Winsome Marketing and Production and Centaurus Mall.
CEO of A A Mining Farrukh Alvi, and Arif Qureshi of Winsome Marketing and Production also spoke.
Owner Sardar Rashid Ilyas said that Centaurus has the honor of standing with every segment and trying to highlight the neglected segments. We want to market whatever products we have in Pakistan. We must ensure that whatever product we make is always of quality and never take shortcuts. You are working as an ambassador of Pakistan. If you want to go to the international market, you have to develop products according to the international market, and for that, you have to work hard. Our Gems & Jewelers industry has the best quality of stones be it Neelum Valley, Swat, or Gilgit. This will also benefit the industrialist and our country will also get remittances. The export of stones will also benefit the industrialists and remittances will also come to our country. The need is that the Government of Pakistan should provide those facilities which are not available. He congratulated the stall holders, Winsome Marketing and Production and Ayesha Arif for wonderfully organizing the exhibition.
Farrukh Alvi said that if Pakistan’s precious and semi-precious stones are marketed, the demand for them can increase in the whole world, which can earn foreign exchange. Pakistani products are present in the international market. Stones in Chitral, Gilgit, and Skardu can be exported if facilities are provided in one place. Special attention should be paid to this as there is a lot of potential in the gems and jewelry sector.
