Lahore city of Pakistan is highly dealing problems with dense smog. Citizens are unable to breath in air. The smog in Lahore city is affecting the public in numerous ways, it affects their lungs, heart, throat, noise, eyes by causing heart disease, lungs cancer, pneumonia, TB and breathing problems. Besides, the people are facing accident cases by poor visibility. Currently the Lahore motorway has been closed for traffic due to dense smog. It is for public safety. Due to the poor visibility drivers are unable to see properly while driving. Multiple accident cases happened with great losses. The motorway police advises public to avoid unnecessary travels, if necessary, drivers are said to use front and rear fog lights of vehicles and obey the given instructions. It is not the final solution of smog to close roads, departments and markets. It may safe public in a temporary period, but cannot overcome the smog. The current authorities and government must go on the roots of smog and act against smog causing activities. Such as industries, burning of coals, fossil fuels, plastics, garbages and other wastes must be stopped. The avoidance ideas are required to be free from smog. It includes by shifting industries far off from population which are in middle of cities, the usage of fossil fuels and plastics, and burning of plastics, fossil fuels, garbages and other materials should be not allowed.
