Bifurcated princely state Jammu and Kashmir acceded to Pakistan is of 72,935 sq km in total area. In the contemporary scenario, persistent economic and political instability in Pakistan lead to struggling and staggering circumstances that have wreaked havoc in Jammu and Kashmir in terms of financial and availability of resources to cope up the challenges that people of Jammu and Kashmir are being victimized of. The annual budget allocated to AJK assembly by federal government is 232 billion for the year 2023-24 .The population of AJK is approximately 4.04 million as per previous census. state has 120 thousand govt employees enrolled in various departments which is massive load on the finance of state. State is entangled in different issues due to failure of shaping of policies to implement, failure of legislation at assembly forum and utilization of resources to establish industrial zones, well equipped technical educational institutions ,modern agricultural reforms ,infrastructure including roads and lodges for up gearing of tourism to conceive the surplus amount of income, which certainly had an mind shaping impact on the native people .It might happened that people start focusing on their own ways of utilization of local available expedient to generate their households. Whenever state representatives fail to exercise the natural resources into gold, the state paralyzes. This dilemma doesn’t only perpetuates the undeliberate state among people but also fabricates the formidable situation in govt sectors. Undeniably, Kashmir is heaven on earth known for its sublime, resplendent and glorious natural beauty. It is due to its beautiful mountains, lush green fields, bursting new springs, marvelous mountain falls and gigantic glaciers. These are the most valuable gifts from Almighty from which state may take advantage to turn the tables of the state by leaps and bounds. Currently, world is focusing on natural availabilities to change them into profitable for the ease of mankind. Due to staggering economic prevailing situation in country, Kashmiri people are under load of tons of contention as due to lingering state institutions. Kashmir could be the Switzerland of the region by introducing tourism development, by providing tourism lodges, relishing and standard food quality and modern innovates. Residents of the valley of Kashmir are confronting the following problems. -Agriculture is one of the most reliable source to fulfill challenges. Fertile lands, Allah Almighty has bestowed with, is the main way of gearing up the economy and the managing the requirement of native people of state. Unfortunately, the government of AJK has failed in implementing agricultural policies in order to turn the premium land to change the fate of state. It is due to lack of skillful institutes, where the trainee should be expert in their respective parameter. The dearth of modern equipment and skilled staff is the main failure. The land of AJK has bestowed with beautiful places by nature having the capability of providing the surplus addition to the revenue of the state. Due to the inability of top brace of AJK, tourists are lacking the standard facilities including roads, security and quality foods. The accessories laid out by the government do not match the prerequisite of the modern era of tourism. In AJK, there is no prominent factory from which the government can provide jobs and the material, which the government imports from outside on heavy terms which is again a huge load finance division. Educational institutes are not upgraded to meet modern requirements. Even some areas have no educational institute for their children. Higher educational institutes are lamentable, deprived of modern information technology facilities, destitute biological advanced research equipment and technical education, as the world is leaning towards the mentioned things. Dependence on government jobs is a burden on finance department, instead world is focusing on production of smart jobs to get exempt from load on finance department. Extra Govt jobs locate extra pressure on state revenue. AJK govt have enrolled 120 thousand employees, which has a huge impact on state advancement. Boosting tourism with modern dealings and ways can surely address the issues for the bright future of the state. Equipping educational institutes with modern policies along with modern ways can change the circumstances. Implanting industrial zone including IT sector in state would be the promise to job hub along with glad tidings to the economy of the state. Government must revive its policies to address this commute to open the great promising door of thriving.
