Geneva(Parliament Times): The 53rd session of the United Nations Human Rights Council is underway in Geneva.  On this occasion, organized by various human rights organizations, Kashmiri Delegation Geneva and Kashmiri Diaspora Europe, tents and posters were displayed at Broken Chair Square for the ongoing atrocities in Indian Occupied Kashmir. They demanded to stop the violation of human rights and the release of Kashmiri political prisoners. A protest was also held.  Through these tents and posters, the ongoing atrocities in Occupied Kashmir were highlighted.  A large caravan of Kashmiri diaspora from Europe participated in the protest demonstration. They shouted slogans against India and they carried posters regarding the atrocities in Occupied Kashmir and pictures of political and Hurriyat leaders arrested in Occupied Kashmir.  Kashmiri delegation Geneva President Altaf Hussain Wani, Faiz Naqshbandi, Sardar Amjad Yousaf, Faheem Kiani, and other participants said that India has imprisoned thousands of political and Hurriyat leaders and activists through black laws in Occupied Kashmir.  Violations of human rights are increasing every day which is a clear violation. They appealed to the United Nations to urge India to stop atrocities in Occupied Kashmir and immediately release arrested political and Hurriyat leaders.  They tried to convey the message to the whole world that Kashmiris will never give up their basic demand of self-determination and will continue their struggle against India.
