TAXILA: The Wah Saddar police on Wednesday busted Maadi gang involved in robberies and arrested their four members besides recovery of looted booty and armed utilized in the various robberies, dacoities and street crimes in twin cities of Taxila and Wah. According to the police spokesman, a team of Wah Saddar Police led by station house officer Inspector Kashif Rana busted the notorious “Maadi group” involved in the in the various robberies, dacoities and street crimes in twin cities of Taxila and Wah and arrested their four members. The arrested gangsters were identified as Hammad, Ali, Aziz and Umer. The spokesman has said that looted booty and weapons utilized in various crimes were also recovered from the gang. He said that during interrogation, the gang has confessed his involvement in the various robberies and dacoities in the residential as well as commercial areas.
Meanwhile, the spokesman has informed that the Wah Cantonment police on Wednesday arrested an accused involved in petrol pump robbery and injuring the security guard putting resistance few weeks ago. According to the Police spokesman, the accused identified as Sana Ullah along with his other accompanies on gun point looted a petrol pump while also shot and injured the security guard for putting resistance to foil the robbery. Police spokesman has said that looted booty was also recovered from his possession while haunt has launched to arrest the other fleeced members of the gang.
