Srinagar, (Parliament Times)  : The APHC AJK leader, Altaf Ahmed Bhat remembering the frontline freedom fighter Shaheed Abdul Majeed Dar on his 20th martyrdom anniversary paid glowing tributes to  Abdul Majeed Dar.
Abdul Majeed Dar was martyred on this day in 2003 outside his house in Sopore town.
Altaf Ahmed Bhat in a statement  said that martyr Abdul Majeed Dar was a visionary man and played an important role in ongoing freedom movement. He also paid homage to Kashmir martyrs including top martyr leader Syed Ali Gilani, Muhammad Ashraf Sehria, Shaikh Abdul Aziz, Masood Tantray, Muhammad Maqbool Allie, Abdullah Bangroo, Aijaz Dar, Ghulam Rasol Dar, Shamsul Haq,Haji Abdul Ghani Butt, Ali Muhammad Dar, Ghazi Naseeb u din, Ishfaq Majeed Wani, Hameed Sheikh, Burhan Wani, Mirza Aslam Khan, Imtiyaz Ahmad,Farooq Mircha, Raoof Rasool, Asghar Rehman, Muhammad Ayoub Banday, Haji Bilal, Mushtaq Ahmad Babu and Ghulam Rasool. He said that the sacrifices of Kashmiri martyrs would not be allowed to go waste and their mission would be accomplished at all costs.
He also congratulated the government and people of Pakistan on the Pakistan Day.
Thanking Pakistan for its unconditional support, Altaf Ahmad Bhat said that for the last 76 years Pakistan openly supported the right to self-determination of Kashmiris and helps us on political, diplomatic and moral levels and we believe Pakistan will take practical steps and continue to do so until Kashmir is free from Indian occupation.”
He said that the Kashmiris’ right to self determination  is the continuation of the Pakistan Movement.
Wishing a happy Ramadan to muslims all around the world Altaf Ahmed Bhat said that, Ramadan is the month of blessings and prayers. Let’s remember the oppressed and besieged muslims of Kashmir and Palestine in our prayers.
