Quetta, (Parliament Times) : The government of Balochistan has a firm position that no one will be allowed to influence the investigation of the Barkhan incident and no pressure will be accepted. While Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Abdul Qudous Bizenjo had instructed that an impartial investigation of the incident could be ensured in any case to bring the elements involved in the incident to justice, Additional Chief Secretary Interior Zahid Saleem and IG Police Abdul Khaliq Sheikh met with Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Imran Gichki regarding the matters related to the Barkhan incident and the progress of the investigation so far. On behalf of the Principal Secretary, did you inform the Additional Chief Secretary Home and IG Police about the instructions of the Chief Minister in the context of the incident? It was told that the Chief Minister himself is reviewing the whole situation and his instructions were to keep the investigation in the right direction and be more diligent he said that further guidance and instructions will be obtained from the Chief Minister regarding the progress of the investigation.
