Quetta,  (Parliament Times) : The most dangerous process in the deterioration of our society which is consuming our society like fire is “intolerance and extremism”. It is completely contrary to it and it is less to be condemned. These views were expressed by Senator Samina Mumtaz Zehri in her newspaper statement. She said that if it is said that our society is continuously and rapidly declining, then the majority may agree with us. There are many factors that are rapidly growing in our society which are leading to rapid degradation of our society, the biggest factor being intolerance and extremism. How many homes have been destroyed by this disease? Every day the incidents of intolerance and extremism are happening so regularly that the heart cries tears of blood, but it is sad to say that no concrete steps are being taken to reduce and prevent it.

Senator Samina Mumtaz. Zehri further said that the recent incident in Barkhan is very sad and condemnable. She said that the incident should be investigated with complete impartiality and whoever is found involved in this heinous act should be severely punished so that such incidents do not happen in the future. She said that such incidents would have happened before but no effective measures have been taken to prevent them and this is the reason why such incidents are happening every day. Discourage this growing trend. The best way is for everyone to start showing patience and tolerance from themselves. Be it politicians, teachers, lawyers, journalists or any common man, there is a need for everyone to think about their behavior in their own place.

As far as scholars and religious figures are concerned, the most responsibility is imposed on them because it is their duty to promote the religion of Islam and to convey the teachings of the last Prophet Hazrat Muhammad Mustafa (SAW). Senator Samina Mumtaz Zahri said that to get rid of the scourge of extremism and intolerance, we all have to play our own role. Be it a maulvi of a street mosque or a professor of a famous university of the country, a politician or a journalist. Be it a lawyer or a civil servant, a doctor or a common man, we all will do our part in promoting tolerance and tolerance, only then will the society change because if we protect our future generations from diseases like intolerance and extremism. If we want to save, we have to include subjects on this subject in the curriculum.

She said that we have to protect our children from this disease, we have to train them. Respect those who disagree with us. We should have the courage to listen to others patiently and patiently. People and institutions belonging to every school of thought, from schools to universities and from madrasas to mosques, should all play their positive and rich role. It will be done so that our future generations can have a beautiful society full of love, brotherhood and peace.
