Quetta, (Parliament Times) : Under the initiative of the Prime Minister of Pakistan, the planting of trees was started in the industrial district Hub of Balochistan. Inaugurated the spring planting campaign in the district. On this occasion, Fida Hussain, Range Forest Officer of the Forest Department, Deputy Commissioner Hub Zahid Khan said that the Hub district was an industrial zone and the natural environment has been maintained with the sustainable development of the infrastructure. To prevent the cutting of trees, the public has to cooperate with the administration and it is the responsibility of the officers of the forest department to provide awareness to the landowners and the public to prevent the cutting of natural forests and to maintain the beauty of the environment. The forest officials said that with the arrival of spring, 2,32,000 trees will be planted in Lasbela and Hub districts, 15,000 trees will be planted in educational institutions, 70,000 trees will be distributed among farmers, 25,000 trees will be distributed to various institutions and other government and private sectors. Jaingi Range Forest Officer said that a nursery of 100,000 plants has been planned in Hub district and the work will be started after the land allocation the forest department is taking many steps to prevent the timber mafia.
