QUETTA,  (Parliament Times) : The way Pakistani people have kept their country’s borders and hearts open for millions of Afghan refugees for 40 years is unparalleled. Here, many opportunities are being provided for the education, training, sports, and skills of Afghan migrant children.

The Government of Pakistan and its citizens have provided them with a home-like environment here and have given special attention to providing them with education, skills, health, and employment.

Muhammad Naeem, a class 10 student living in Mardan, is from Afghanistan. They are eight siblings of which the elder five attend school.

After graduating from school, they also go to madrassas to get religious education.

Muhammad Naeem is second among his siblings. His elder brother Javed Akhtar has passed his FA and is now studying in a madrasa while his three sisters are also studying in a nearby government school.

Muhammad Naeem said that thanks to the hard work and love of the teachers, he had secured a position in the fifth grade and is now in the ninth grade.

He said that his younger brother Muhammad Hamid secured the third position in his school in the 8th class examinations organized by the Mardan Board recently.

He said that they were provided free books by the government for the new batch every year. Apart from this, they also got a monthly stipend with which they fulfilled their other academic needs.

Pakistan’s sacrifice for the people of Afghanistan. It is unique that we will always remember.
Mohammad Naeem said that he loved Pakistan. He never felt like a stranger here. He has many friends here.
There is no difference in our speech, dress, and culture.

This is the reason why they considered Pakistan their home. His friends also expressed their friendship with him. They all read and play together.
Fourteen-year-old Muhammad Naeem, after finishing school and seminary, also worked in the evenings at the local pharmacy.

He was quite interested in pharmaceuticals. He wished to master this field when he completed his studies. He believed that there was a great need to work in this field in his country, Afghanistan. They wished to serve and help their people through this sector when they will go back to their homeland.

Like Mohammad Naeem, many other Afghan children are living in Pakistan with their parents. They are growing up in Pakistan, reading, writing, and playing. He is determined to promote Pakistan-Afghanistan friendship while confessing his love for Pakistan and its people wholeheartedly. Above all, they intended to play a great role in the development and prosperity of their country Afghanistan in the future by being equipped with excellent education and skills.
