LONDON:  The UK based Kashmiri International outfit right, representing the diaspora community and world renowned Kashmiri think tank Global Pak Kashmir Supreme Council (GPKSC) Chairman Raja Sikander Khan along with the President GPKSC Kala Khan and their office bearers held a meeting on 5th January at their headoffice in London where they issued a joint statement stating that
5th January is the Day of Self-Determination, United Nations day of pledge, the day of the resolution to achieve the rights of the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
It’s been 75 years since the United Nations passed a resolution that the people of Jammu & Kashmir will be given right of self determination through plebsit but so far the people of Jammu & Kashmir are still waiting for the promise of UN for their fundamental birth right of self determination !!!!!

We at Global Pak Kashmir Supreme Council (GPKSC) urge the United Nation to fulfil your promise made 75 years ago to people of Jammu & Kashmir through a plebsit for their fundamental birth right of self determination, we also request the International Community and the Human Rights organisations to help the innocent people of jammu & Kashmir for their birth right of self determination.
Chairman Raja Sikander Khan also requested the Pakistani & Kashmiri diaspora to write to their Members of Parliaments of the country they reside in as well as writing to the Members of European Parliament to pressurise India to stop the human rights violations and atrocities on innocent people of a illegally Indian Occupied Kashmir and let the people of Jammu & Kashmir decide their future through a plebcit for the right of their self determination.
The President Kala Khan stated that we are undergoing a consultations with our members of legal panel team which consists of lawyers and barristers in order to take the human rights violaters in Illegally Indian Occupied a kashmir to the International Criminal Court of Justice and within two weeks or so we will get together with our legal panel team to finalise its course of action.
