In our daily routine, we face lots of difficulties due to lack of awareness regarding every kind of act in our life. Actually, every state in the world has a constitution and according to their constitution this state will run, but if we are here discussing Third World countries or those countries of the world which are still in the developing phases. So, the public of developing countries as compared to people of developed countries, there are so many differences between them in every aspect of life, such as people of those in developing countries also facing the problem of lack of awareness about their fundamental rights etc. If we discuss our country Pakistan in that scenario, then Pakistan is also running out through a proper constitution and in the constitution of Pakistan everything is written very clearly. Now a question is rising here If everything is clearly explained in the constitution of our country.
Then Why are we still facing so many problems, sometimes in our surrounding so many events happen and these events are looking totally unlawful & illegal? While as I mentioned, Pakistan also has a proper constitution, behind this question there may be so many other reasons as well. But in my point of view, there is a basic confusion about the lack of awareness in our country. We don’t know what are our fundamental rights? We are unaware of our rights, we are totally unaware of our constitution as well. Furthermore, we don’t know who will punish us and on what conditions he will punish us. Like that, so many other problems are facing the public and especially lower class people of our country. Due to lack of awareness, those people who are attached to government authorities will misuse their departmental power and creating pressure because they know that these people are unaware of the constitution. That’s why they will be successful in dominant on those people who are unaware of their fundamental rights which are given by our constitution. Another thing is that due to lack of awareness lower class people of the country can’t approach easily to achieve their constitutional rights, right to free education, health care facilities, equal share in job opportunities, legal assistance etc.Furthermore Our public are misguided also by so-called leaders due to lack of awareness. Some people achieve an opportunity to take advantage of this weak point of those people who are facing lack of awareness problem, and then they so-called leaders misguided us, even the current situation of our country
In particular, Sindh province. These greedy people in the shape of leaders are using lower class people and the innocent public of Sindh for their personal interests. Unfortunately, our public is also unconscious to decide and choose their real leaders at the time of elections. That’s why they so-called leaders will cash these people and take personal advantage’s through cashing these innocent people of our country. Now, if our public are aware of these tricks of so-called leaders and aware of their constitutional rights, then I think our lots of problems will be going towards solutions automatically. Imagine one second, in this modern age of technology and in the 21st century, we are facing slavery still in different ways. In the shape of feudalism, in the shape of blackmailing of different government authorities.
Why in this modern age of technology are we surviving under these conditions? I think that we are unaware of equality among humans. That’s why, in the 21st century, people like servants of those people who are financially or politically powerful whether all human beings are equal in the eye of our religion, Islam, as well in human rights point of view. Now, due to lack of awareness in humans if we look for gender perspective, women are facing more difficulties as compared to males because, especially in Sindh province, almost all females facing domestic violence. There is no proper education for girls Very few girls who end their academic journey with a bachelor’s degree from any university, especially girls from rural areas of Sindh, approach to higher studies in university and continue their academic journey it will be very, very difficult for them. That’s why the majority of girls in Sindh end their education in Intermediate. Now there are lots of reasons behind this situation. I think there are some basic challenges like the mind set of our society. Still, we are unsuccessful in fighting against the enemy of the girl’s education mind set of our society. After that, everyone in our society is responsible for creating difficulties for females. Few seconds we will stand in front of our internal man and ask questions from him that we are not responsible? Are we not participating in creating problems for females? There is no one who will encourage females and appreciate them for doing their work very well. Very few people in our whole society who are playing their role regarding decrees difficulties for females.
These are ground realities that females are still facing gender discrimination at the time of jobs, admissions etc. Although women are an important part of our society because children are born after their first educational institute, their first university at their mother’s. That’s why it’s very necessary to understand that if one woman is educated in family, it means the whole family will be educated automatically, and it will impact on the whole society, because, according to sociology, family institutions are basic institutions of any society and a family institute consists of one woman so due to lack of awareness women’s in our society are unable to get their fundamental rights, to get their equal share in property, to get their right of willingness at the time of marriage.
Now one thing is that we should need to end the concept of male dominance in our society as well. We should need to play our positive role in the education of girls, especially in our rural areas. I think this is the basic responsibility of all of us educated people of society and aware people in our society that they will make a positive path and pleasant environment for girls education especially and create satisfaction through career counseling among those people who are still don’t want to give the rights to education to girls. If we conclude that it’s the responsibility of our government authorities that they should need to take the initiative to create awareness among people and inform people of their fundamental rights, right of free education, right of free health care facilities, right of information as well through awareness sessions, through media platforms and when our public will be aware from their rights and constitution of country than Indeed problems of public are starting decreases and system will be run on right path.
