According to Aristotle, “Politics is a noble activity in which men decide the rules they will live by and the goals they will collectively pursue.”on the other hand racism is prejudice, discrimination, or antagonism by an individual, community, or institution against a person or people on the basis of their membership of a particular racial or ethnic group, typically one that is a minority or marginalized. In recent times one of the politician named fawad chaudhry uttered some obscene remarks sarcastically, which has nothing to do with politics and far beyond understanding. In an interview with a news channel, he target’s pashtoon people and in a way just to spatter the characters of pashtoon people. Every community or group of people having some positive side’s, as well as negative or, can say aspects. He highlighted the negative aspect says that ” no one can dare to go washroom with a pathan/pashtoon” by which he negate pashtoons. Besides the contribution of pashtoon people to the state, his cheap mentality is stuck in these types of cheap things. The issue which he talked about has been found in people’s/ communties all over the world. This is human nature which cannot be denied. By the sin of an individual, you can not give the credit to any group of people or community. These type of people are spoiling the real face of politics. Politicians should talk about politics rather ethnicity. One of the problems with pakistani politicians is that most of them are intellectually disabled , they even don’t know the meaning of politics, and some times when a news channel invites them to their show so there they’re having lack of arguments, lack of knowledge, some times cruddy communication skills. These are the factors which result in such a way that to throw cheap remarks favouring an ethnic group. Finally I say all of this to explain the only definition of racism…racism is ignorance. Racism is lack of education/open-mindedness. Racism is mindless thinking. We need learn as a society to keep our mouths shut, and just learn to accept people regardless of physical attributes.
