TANK: Business activities are gradually increasing with the help of security officials stationed at the Pak-Afghan border, said Superintendent of Grape Customs Terminal Zia-ul-Haq Afridi.

Despite the lack of basic facilities like net and banking system in the border area of Angor Ada on the Pak-Afghan border, the customs staff are carrying out their duties in a cordial atmosphere with the business community, he said.

The development of bilateral trade is having a positive impact on the national economy and providing employment opportunities to local tribes by providing employment opportunities to thousands of unemployed people and meeting their household expenses, he added. He said that due to the special interest shown by the top officials of the Customs Department, positive changes are taking place in the import and export business on a daily basis and in the coming time Angor Ada Customs Terminal will increase the foreign exchange of the country. That With the help of security officials stationed at the Pak-Afghan border, there has been a significant reduction in smuggling prevention, which has led the local business community to turn to the customs department for enforcing the rules, he said.

The Bank of Khyber Branch will soon be inaugurated in the border area of Angor Ada with the efforts of top customs officials by implementing the Webak online system, which will alleviate the problems faced by the business community.
