Islamabad, (Parliament Times) : Former AJK Prime Minister Sardar Abdul Qayyum Niazi said that he developed a path of building an independent Kashmir and Development in the eight months of his tenure. He said that he launched the mega projects, the fruits of which will soon be available to the people. The development of the region, the well-being of the people and the Kashmir independence movement has been his top priority. Former Prime Minister Sardar Abdul Qayyum Niazi expressed these views while talking to reporters at AJK Islamabad House.
He said that a new era of good governance, restoration of merit, promotion of tourism, infrastructure and development has started. Azad Kashmir has vast potential for tourism so it has finalized the mega projects to strengthen infrastructure to take advantage of the region. Toli Pir Lisdna Road is close to completion. While there has been a great job for the construction of small links at tourist destinations. Preliminary work on Kashmir Highway, Lower Gully Tunnel and other projects has been completed. Completion of these projects will change the destiny of Azad Kashmir. Former prime minister said that he ensured the best check and balance to prevent corruption and provided Ramzan Package relief to the public. The former prime minister said that the Liberation Cell was reconstituted and ended political recruitment here. Scholars and other experts will be hired so that the independence movement of Kashmir can be fully highlighted.
