ISLAMABAD: 2 deaths occurred and 228 tested positive due to corona virus in the last 24 hours in the country.
As per latest statistics evolved by the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) 27741 tests were conducted of which 228 returned positive taking the total positive cases to 1522419.
Positivity ratio stands at 0.82 percent.
As per province wise details 573,850 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Sindh, 504,507 in Punjab, 218,736 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 134,973 in Islamabad, 43,222 in Azad Kashmir, 35,459 in Balochistan and 11,672 in Gilgit-Baltistan so far.
With 2 deaths reported in the last 24 hours the tally of fatalities has climbed to level of 30333.
NCOC data revealed 13,551 fatalities have taken place in Punjab, 8,092 in Sindh, 6,307 in KP, 1,022 in Islamabad, 792 in Azad Kashmir, 378 in Balochistan and 191 in GB so far due to COVID-19
So far, 128,074,138 people have received their first dose of coronavirus vaccine including 131,491 in last 24 hours. 101,881,176 citizens have been fully vaccinated while 501,747 received their second dose in last 24 hours.
The tally of doses so far administered come to 219,368,557 with 678,788 in the last 24 hours.
1,476,796 patients have recovered in the country while 470 patients are reported to be in critical condition.
