It is with deep sorrow and poignant agony that the so-called state of Pakistan has miserably dashed to ground to inculcate any semblance of equality and justice among citizens. Being utterly fractured across multifaceted lines, the bitter and stark reality is that those vulnerable that are quite queer and different are shunned to the periphery as well as marginalized from the rest. Dolefully, these so-called and presumed “outcasts” and “degenerates” are booted out from every walk of life. Consequently, they are systematically stripped off their rudimentary rights. However; ill-luck would have it, our society also in terms of notion—a conservative , retrogressive and macho-partriarchal always deem “Trans community” as a fragile, abominable and see them with marginalized lens. Their(Trans people’s) unalienable and fundamental privileges are flagrantly transgressed, be it right of education, or of—politically, socially and so more—of any kind..As we are human beings; so are they too, if we harbour feelings, desires, ambitions and dreams, either do they as well. Owing to denial of their underlying rights , they tend to adopt vicious cycle of wrongdoing and squalid acts with having forced to resort to professions like dancing, prostitution and begging in order to make ends meet to satiate the their starving bellies.Stigmatization, social exclusion and consequent banishment from the society makes transgender’s life even tougher and more complicated; isolating, pushing and forcing them into inappropriate conducts/habits like selling sex. Furthermore, The transgender community is looked down upon by the Pakistani society where they experience high levels of physical abuse and encounter discriminatory demeanour in daily life. Such malfeasant and indecorous attitudes make them vulnerable to myriad of risky behaviors; forcing them to become commercial sex workers, begging, drugs use and even suicidal ideation.Commercial sex work, gender based discrimination, hijras, institutional discrimination, physical violence, risk behaviors, social exclusion, suicide and many more. To conclude, They must also be dispensed justice and consider as an integral part of society with providing them their central prerogative in all sphere of life.In addition, Pakistan must revolve around on creating an inclusive ambiance — one that consciously evolves to meet the changing needs of all its members. Through recognition and unflinching support and assistance, marginalised communities, like transgender can dole out meaningful and fruitful involvement to the country, while also improving their plight. Only by affirming and accepting differences can we tear through the very fences that separate us…..
