Rawalpindi, (Parliament Time): Commissioner Rawalpindi Division Syed Gulzar Hussain Shah visits Thalian with Nes Pak officials to clear NHA’s objections regarding alignment of Ring Road Rawalpindi, Rawalpindi Ring Road which is now being constructed as per the design approved for 2017. The NHA has technical objections to the expected arrival of vehicles at the Thalian interchange. The Commissioner directed the Nespak authorities to send a detailed plan within next week for the vehicles coming from Thalian Interchange to M2, the expected problems, its solution and the traffic system from Ring Road at this place for next ten years. So that it can be sent to NHA for final approval. Representatives of the Ministry of Communications, NHA, FWO, Nespak, in-charge PMU / Financial Assistant, and PMU were present on the occasion. It may be recalled that the Punjab Chief Minister during his visit to Rawalpindi last month had announced the ground breaking ceremony of Rawalpindi Ring Road and Lei Express projects on December 25.
