For tourism,Pakistan has very much rich potential because of its rich culture, history, geographical and biological diversity.The north of Pakistan is known for its peaks, glaciers, lakes and forests where not only home grown tourism can flourish but millions of tourists from abroad can also be attracted. There has various tourist destinations at Swat, Murree, Chitral, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Neelam valleys. Pakistan has great potential and offers diverse opportunities for tourists, such as trout fishing in the glacial water of Gilgit-Baltistan and Swat rivers, Shandur Polo traditional tournament, rock climbing. All of these exciting activities should be promoted to boost tourism.
